Once again, another year rolls around. It's time for a [2021 New Year Revolution] review!
2021 Review
[PASSED] 1. Pass all my exams, and become a better professional than when I started.
I didn't think I would make it. It was a really tough and painful journey but...I did it! I passed every exam, won an award, and I am officially registered into the codex! We've crossed the finish line!
[PASSED] 2. Take initiatives and work hard to secure a better future, or a clear direction for my profession by the end of the year.
I know what I actually meant when I wrote this. It's actually still in the works, but considering I do have a clear plan for what is to come in the next year...I'm giving myself a pass! I'm so elated that I'm free now. It's time to dream big!
[FAILED] 3. Complete one chapter of my webcomic every month.
I started out strong until my profession came crashing into me like a ton of bricks -- But hey, I sacrificed it for the better good!
[FAILED] 4. Have my webcomic published by 05/11/2021.
Look here now, I can explain --
[PASSED] 5. Draw at least 4 OC illustrations by the end of the year.
I...I didn't even realise I drew that much this year until I started looking -- ?! Most of my major illusts were from this year?? This is crazy! I've impressed myself! Uhh good job me! LOL Though it seems what happened was, I started out strong and ended strong ... and we all know what happened to the gap in between XD
[PASSED] 6. Maintain consistent updates in this blog, or personal journal entries.
I consistently blogged every month! Until mid year hell happened. But, I gave myself that time off so I could focus, therefore I shall still give myself this point! It was fun, and it certainly held me accountable for the most part!
[FAILED] 7. Attend all theological gatherings with my childhood friend.
[PASSED] 8. Push myself out of my comfort zone to learn to articulate my feelings verbally, and be quick thinking in my speech.
To be honest, not entirely sure what I was thinking when I wrote this, but on a professional level, I am slowly learning how to put my foot down. It's small progress, but it's progress!
[???] 9. Aim to become a wiser person - a peacemaker, and someone with a profound understanding on why conflict occurs, and how to resolve them.
Is this filler goals? LOL I think this is still a work in progress. I'm far from being a wise tart! Hopefully next year, I will be!
[PASSED] 10. Learn to be mentally strong, and not give up when the going gets tough.
I mean, the fact I am still here today is a testament of this point!

2022 New Year Revolution
Obtain my dream job in my profession.
Continue developing my professional expertise such that I can be a capable mentor to others.
Start a merchandise business.
Debut my webcomic before the mid-year rolls around.
Start streaming regularly.
Post on social media consistently.
Draw an illustration every month.
Hold my goals accountable through monthly blog posts.
Foster a community of artists to help each other learn and grow.
Learn to live a life of happiness.
This year was the final boss fight in my profession, and I am very proud to say that I've finally completed the tutorial of the game in this respect! All of my life, art had always been a back burner second priority to my profession. I was always able to make excuses as for why I couldn't get my work done ... but next year will be different. I won't have excuses anymore. Next year will be the year of accomplishing all my art goals! I'm determined to make it happen!
